Olivia is a Senior Consultant at Acclimatise.
Olivia has over 7 years’ of experience in assessing climate impacts, vulnerabilities and risks; developing appropriate resilience-building measures and projects according to available financial resources; and integrating climate resilience into national development plans and decision-making processes. Olivia leads Acclimatise’s work in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region, on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and is manager of Acclimatise’s subsidiary company in Barbados, Acclimatise LAC Ltd.
Olivia plays a lead managerial, technical, facilitation and mentoring role on complex, multi-stakeholder projects. She has led or contributed to over 20 consulting projects, and has recently focussed on National Adaptation Planning, developing adaptation project pipelines and designing adaptation/resilience projects. She works in both the public and private sectors, and has experience working with government ministries, departments and agencies; regional agencies; development banks; donors; companies (large and small) and NGOs.
Olivia holds an MSc in Environmental Change & Management (Distinction) from Linacre College, University of Oxford, and a BA in Geography (First Class Honours) from Jesus College, University of Oxford.
